Our IT Strategy & Change Consulting service gives clients support and advice to ensure that the technology in use in their business meets their organisational needs and objectives and assurance that IT will help them achieve their aims.
The successful candidate will be both managing and participating in work for clients such as IT strategy development, IT systems requirements gathering and analysis, providing recommendations for IT to support business processes, and reviewing and managing IT programmes or projects. The role will require working closely with client staff and others to review the use of IT within an organisation, the aims and objectives of the business or key stakeholders, or current processes and software tools in use. The successful candidate must be able to talk to clients on a business level, and to IT suppliers or client staff on technical issues
We are looking for candidates with;
• Minimum three years consulting with majority of experience for external clients. • Good general understanding of IT systems and applications. • Experience in Enterprise Architecture methodologies like TOGAF • Experience in providing strategic advice to IT teams, preferably IT directors / managers. • Experience of IT requirements gathering, and knowledge of design, development, and testing of IT software implementations, preferably with practical experience of these tasks. • Knowledge of business process re-engineering and systems analysis and implementation, preferably with practical experience of these tasks. • Understanding and experience of the processes and tasks involved in successful change management, particularly for IT implementations. • Knowledge of IT procurement processes, particularly for software. • Exposure to Sustainability / Green Agenda work preferable • Project management skills including risk management, progress reporting, planning, stakeholder management, benefits analysis, communication.
Candidates should have a first degree from a top Ten UK University, 2:1 and above with preferably a post graduate qualification in Management Studies or Information Systems and PRINCE2 or equivalent PM training or project experience.
