Financial Services Management Consultants  Based in London with travel required

£35,000 - £75,000 + bonus and benefits

We are looking for people with excellent experience to join us on projects that are shaping the future of Financial Services.

Professional Experience

• You have at least 3+ years experience of project work within the Financial Services Industry, either as a consultant or within a top-tier industry institution – a combination of both of these would be ideal.

• You have a proven track record of delivering large scale program initiatives, often reporting directly to senior stakeholders and managing multiple teams

• You have a strong understanding of the project lifecycle and the ability to employ these concepts in process design, system implementation and the development of client deliverables.

• You have in-depth knowledge of at least one industry functional area, e.g. Mid- and Back-office process improvement, product management, client implementation, internal strategy etc.

• You have a solid background in at least one of the product segments in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking (e.g. Payments and cash management, trade services, treasury, core lending, equities or fixed income assets) or a Market Infrastructure Provider (e.g. SWIFT or payment clearing)

Additional Requirements

• You must have a strong academic track-record, including a good first degree, preferably with an analytical bias. An MBA or ACA qualification would be advantageous, although not essential.

• You have a strong understanding of business and market dynamics, financial practices and supportive technologies in the Financial Services Industry.

• You have strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to think, write and present in a logical and structured way.

• You have solid interpersonal skills (client facing) and are able to develop and maintain relationships successfully.

• You communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with managers and clients, discussing complex ideas and developing project deliverables.

• You have the ability to support and be active in business development activities

• You are able to contribute to Capco’s thought leadership and proposition development alongside client delivery

• You have experience in managing the performance of individuals, including coaching, career development and formal project/annual appraisals

• You are eager to travel and work in cross-border/cross-disciplined teams at client site. (While the practice is based in London, the global nature of our client base means that there is scope for international travel.)

• You are fluent in English and potentially in one other major European language.

• You are a confident user of Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
