As an IT Advisory Manager at Ernst & Young, you'll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. With guidance from partners, directors and senior managers, you'll identify potential business opportunities for Ernst & Young. Drawing on your knowledge and experience, you'll create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs and contribute to thought leadership.

Your responsibilities will include actively contributing to improving operational efficiency on IT Advisory projects and internal initiatives. In line with our commitment to quality, you'll also consistently drive projects to completion and determine that work is of high quality. Your role in leading teams or parts of teams on engagements will depend on the size of engagement and will be under the responsibility of higher levels. They will look to you to anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate. As an influential member of the team, you'll help to create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

Client responsibilities

  • Participate in and, as required, lead ITAS engagements

  • Manage financial aspects of client engagements and communicate significant issues, fees, and estimates to complete to partners and clients

  • Assist partners and directors with generating new business opportunities and building client networks and relationships

  • Understand all our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients

  • Build strong internal relationships with in Advisory and across other services.

People responsibilities

  • Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff

  • Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff

  • Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training ITAS professionals

  • Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills

  • Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

You'll have knowledge and experience of a number of the following areas:

  • Information Architecture covering Transactional and unstructured data sources.

  • Overall design of the enterprise data / information architecture requirements that supports the future vision for enterprise architectures.

  • Designing and developing standardised enterprise data models and strategies.

  • Designing and implementing data architecture principles, components and standards.

  • Hands on experience designing enterprise wide data / information architecture

  • Logical and physical database design and implementation experience

  • Experience building business and technical requirements

  • Experience defining and implementing data management best practices

  • Detailed product knowledge of at least 2 industry leading product sets and modelling tools.

  • Track record with a blue chip consulting firm
