Job Description Plus is looking for a Global Supply Chain Manager to join our Supply Chain team. Someone with at least 3 years of experience managing a team. An ideal candidate will possess skills in leading and developing employees, but also experience in global mobility supply management. This role will be working under the direction of our VP of Global Supply Chain. If you are an experienced, passionate, and driven management professional, then we want to speak to you! Global Supply Chain Manager Overview: You will be responsible for managing the supply chain in the EMEA and APAC regions to ensure relocation services administered by third-party providers align with the needs of Plus's clients. You will also be responsible for leading the regional global supply chain team who oversee the selection and management of regional third-party relocation service providers. What your day as a Manager looks like: * Overseeing the execution of end to end supplier management including, but not limited to, ongoing analysis, sourcing, contract management, onboarding, ongoing training and performance management * Acting as regional supply chain management leader and subject matter expert * Collaborating with VP Global Supply Chain and other regional managers to ensure the implementation of supplier management strategies are consistent with global best practices across regions * Ensuring all client needs and goals are met in partnership across the organization by collaborating with internal service teams * Acting as regional Global Supply Chain representation for internal and external meetings and events such as client reviews and professional conferences * Participating in sales support activity including but not limited to; RFP content contribution, best and final presentations and other prospective client activities * Serving as the regional level of escalation * Providing indirect and direct client consulting as needed * Maintaining and monitor team workload, performance, and service delivery quality * Determining baseline service performance metrics and set goals for excellence * Ensuring successful completion of direct reports' KPIs * Assessing developmental needs and assist in the initial and ongoing training and education opportunities * Conducting quarterly and annual performance reviews with recommendations for salary increases, promotions, and disciplinary action as appropriate * Oversee allocation of resources and staff to ensure consistent, high-quality customer service * Providing guidance for team members regarding the resolution of routine as well as complex operational and customer service situations * Participating in the interviewing, hiring, and retention of highly engaged employees Qualifications What you will bring to this position: * Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously, as well as be part of a successful team * Passionate about providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customer * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to respond resourcefully and constructively to new demands, priorities, and challenges * Effective and proactive problem-solving skills * Innovative and able to challenge existing processes * Strong project management skills * Successful contract negotiation skills * Excellent communication and presentation skills * College degree (preferred) * At least 2-3 years of people management experience Additional Information Why choose Plus Relocation?
