The Head of Brand & Communications Role:

You will help us shape our brand as we change the way that we present ourselves. You will help us create a destination brand that is the talk of ecommerce. This will be the name that pops on your CV, both as our brand recognition starts to make us a household name, but also as an integral part of one the UK's business success stories.

Head of Brand & Communications Key Accountabilities:

+ To support the CMO in driving the brand essence and defining the associated brand guidelines for customers, journalists, influencers and internal stakeholders among others
+ Create and drive the brand look and feel and develop the tone of voice to energise us as a disruptor in the sector and a real challenger brand for our audience
+ Create strong relationships and eulogise about our brand with editors, journalists, influencers, athletes and other influential people that can help drive brand awareness
+ Be a guardian and leader setting and evolving the brand guidelines for the business
+ Brief and develop campaign concepts through to implementation and delivery
+ Development and management of a fully developed and integrated global comms and editorial plan
+ Manage a team consisting of social media, content creators and influencer managers
+ Develop a PR and buzz creation mentality and drive mentions to the brand to benefit both brand awareness and SEO
+ This role is critical in driving the brand and must be seen as a key leader within the wider business

Ideal Candidate Specification:

+ 5-10 years of brand marketing experience with exposure to digital and social being critical
+ A strong communicator with excellent and compelling grasp of brand and communications
+ A genuine affinity with the active nutrition sector and a real passion for health and fitness
+ A love for social media and a passion for creating compelling content that will be organically shared and talked about
+ An eye for whats cool and on trend, yet the experience to apply a filter in relation to KPIs such as buzz and ROI
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills and with an ability to sell in ideas and respond to feedback in the correct way, helping to formulate best on practice work
+ Ability to develop processes that add the right levels of control and help the business to create efficiencies through smart ways of working
+ Comfortable with ambiguity and possessing the resilience and guile to deliver through this
+ A genuine track record of delivery to a high standard
+ A leader that those around want to follow as well as a strong manager of small teams and projects
