Operational Readiness Project Manager - Asset Management

12 MONTH CONTRACT

Our high profile Banking client currently has an opportunity for a Project manager to work in their offices based in London.

The Fund Accounting Change Programme is responsible for delivering strategic initiatives, amongst which include the transfer of 1200 funds from legacy platforms to strategic platforms.

Role:

  • Support the Operational Readiness Workstream Lead in the implementation of the key Operational Readiness deliverables for the programme
  • Mobilise and co-ordinate a cross functional team of Operational Readiness leads and representatives to ensure effective control and governance of the Operational Readiness activity
  • Ensure that the requisite fund generic and fund specific procedures, for the day 1 & 2 operating model are signed off ahead of the Fund Migration Tranches
  • Ensure Training of all personnel in the day 1 & 2 operating model
  • Secure go-live sign off from all required departments/functions prior to fund migrations
  • Secure all Regulatory and Internal Approvals required to implement the day 1& 2 operating model
  • Partner with Programme Management to ensure all aspects of Operational Readiness are tracked and risks mitigated and escalated where required
  • Management of business readiness risk forum, ensuring effective definition, documentation, escalation and mitigation of risks pertaining to business readiness for key transformation activity

Successful candidates would ideally:

  • Project management in Fund Accounting
  • Detailed Knowledge of Enterprise and related Fund Accounting Applications
  • Experience of representing businesses to current clients via presentations etc.
  • Ensure the team understands the current Oregon SLA and Operating Model
  • The ability to identify and implement operational change to meet efficiency and technical demands.
  • Strong global awareness and adaptability in order to work well with partners/users in various locations/time zones (including but not limited to London, Chicago, Australia Hong Kong, Japan, Bangalore)
