Description

The successful Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for revenues in line with the business 5 year further growth plan. You will be responsible for promoting the companies portfolio of technology products (hardware, software, services) into medium and large multinational organisations across both the public and private sectors such as defence, utilities, oil and gas, satellite manufacturers etc. Initially this role will be focusing on a national UK remit in the first year with the view to focusing on a broader international remit from year 2 on wards.

Profile

The successful Senior Business Development Manager will have the following demonstrable skills:

  • Proven track record in business development within a B2B client facing commercial role, minimum of 5 years, ideally from IT/Technology product/service background.
  • Experience of selling into and managing customer base of medium and large multinational organisations.
  • Ideally have experience selling into both the public and private sectors.
  • International sales experience would be highly desirable.
  • Experience of covering a large geographical area.
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to communicate and present at all levels of an organisation.
  • Degree educated would be desirable but not essential.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Self-motivated, confident personality.
  • Proactive with a positive attitude and outlook.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ideally based in the North East England, commutable to Newcastle office location.
