Careers at EDS
In October 2007, EDS announced an expanded deal with the world’s leading business software applications and services company SAP, which will further elevate EDS’ position on the IT consulting market. Since 1984, when it was originally established in the UK, EDS has chalked a significant business growth and now has over 120 high profile clients, including British Airways, Rolls-Royce, the Ministry of Justice, the Department for Work and Pensions, and the Ministry of Defence. In the UK, EDS employs 16,000 people and operates out of more than 250 locations. The company is always looking for motivated, diligent, flexible and accomplishment oriented people – including apprentices and recent graduates - who are eager to meet new challenges, and it offers them numerous possibilities to build on their knowledge and skills and make progress in their work and career.
EDS organizational structure
EDS is run by the Board of Directors, presided over by Chairman Michael H. Jordan and President and CEO Ronald A. Rittenmeyer. EDS consultants offer business solutions for different industries, ranging from media and communications, energy, financial services, healthcare and transportation to high technology, capital markets, government and even homeland security.
